New York Video Online

Bringing You the Best in Cinema

About New York Video

New York Video Online has the largest selection of DVD rentals in New York City.  Check out our great selection of movies including Hollywood Classics, Foreign Films, Documentaries, Independent Films and Hard-to-Find Titles

From 1987 thru 2011, we occupied a storefront at 949 First Avenue in Manhattan.  We have since re-invented ourselves online as a personal cinema delivery service for the discriminating movie lover.

Our mission is to bring to you the Best in Cinema from around the world, making available the films you can’t see anywhere else.

The demise of the neighborhood video store has hurt movie lovers by dramatically reducing the number of titles available to view. Steaming, pay-per-view, and downloading can’t make up for all the films that have been lost in the transition. We are here to fill that void.

I used to live at 328 E. 52. Right around the corner from you. Then I moved to 333 E. 55, I have been a customer since 1994. I miss you guys and hope that you really will find a storefront. I hope that’s really true. We all miss you. Our neighborhood is suffering without you and Metropolitan Cafe!

Guys, new site is great. Quick question: is there a way to tell which titles you offer in Blu-Ray as a separate link? Like, a list of all Blu-Ray titles?

    Best of luck,

    David

Come back, please. You guys are a mid-town east must.

I used to go a couple of blocks out of the way to do a pickup/drop-off during my 45 min walk home from work. A good movie & an evening stroll down the east side was the best arrangement in town! Now I live in LA but still hope to see you guys back in a storefront one day. Don’t forget your roots!
